Bob is a licensed professional engineer, registered in three states, with project experience in rail transit, utilities, airfield lighting, water/wastewater, high-tech, commercial, institutional, and marine ports. Bob has extensive medium and low voltage power distribution, as well as instrumentation and control (l&C) systems experience. Bob also has recent project experience in power system protection studies, harmonics, and arc flash hazard analysis. Prior to joining Elcon Associates Inc. in 2000, Bob worked for several MEP engineering firms on commercial and institutional projects. From 1993 to 1998, Bob worked for a multi-discipline engineering firm where he worked on the high-tech fab projects. From 1979 to 1993, Bob worked as a plant electrical engineer for Tektronix, Inc., where he was responsible for design and project management of numerous electrical installations, including unit substations, building power and lighting, and tool installations. From 1977 to 1979, Bob worked as an associate engineer for an electrical metering equipment and switchgear manufacturer, where he would develop custom shop and wiring drawings for manufacturing, and product standards drawings for manufacturing and reference.
