John So serves as a project manager and senior electrical engineer at Elcon. John has over 15 years of experience in the rail transit, utility, energy, and industrial sectors. He is specialized in the design of 15kV to 500kV substations in terms of physical layout and relaying, power system modeling and analysis, protection and control, substation ground grid analysis and substation studies. He has also done traction power substation design for third rail, light rail and streetcar projects.
