Banfield Traction Power Substations Retrofit
The traction power substations installed as part of the Banfield Light Rail Project (Type 1) are over 30 years old and many components are obsolete and no longer supported by the manufacturer. Elcon provided systems engineering services to update existing equipment that will increase the reliability and safety and reduce the maintenance cost of the light rail system.
