Bus Maintenance Facility
Elcon provided the electrical design for Skagit Transit’s Bus Maintenance and Operations Facility electrical systems, which includes a new PSE utility service transformer, new 2,000A, 480V switchboard, new 500KW, 480/277V standby/emergency generator, and future 15kV duct bank, transformer vault, switchgear pad, and conduits to future bus charging equipment (ChargePoint, Inc.). Provided coordination with PSE for new electrical service connection.
Lighting was designed to maximize energy savings using daylight harvesting, and all LED indoor and outdoor fixtures. Provided electrical design for facility-wide fire alarm, IT system, and CCTV/Security System throughout the facility and site. Also provided electrical design for Access Control System indoors and at the perimeter gates.
