Fast Response Cutter Wharf
Elcon prepared the design-build electrical specifications and drawings for electrical modifications to USCG Ketchikan for homeporting new Fast Response Cutters. Design elements included: modifying existing base buildings to supply storage, office, and other support spaces, new parking lot lighting, replacement of HAZMAT Building, new floating piers with hotel services for new and existing boats, add armor to existing under water channel crossing utility cables, and temporary provisions during construction. Systems included power (new shore power substation), lighting, and fire alarm.
