Lynnwood Link OCS and Traction Power Value Engineering
Elcon was responsible for conducting value engineering for the traction power and overhead contact system elements for the multi-billion-dollar Lynnwood light rail extension. Responsibilities included reviewing traction power simulation report, plans, specifications and construction cost estimates for value engineering suggestions. Overall several millions of cost saving ideas for the traction power element and overhead contact systems were presented.
